2026.01.07 News RDE system and data structuring features paper published on STAM Methods RDE

A paper on the system and data structuring features of RDE (Research Data Express)-a service for accumulating and sharing data in materials research-has been published on the journal Science and Technology of Advanced Materials: Methods.
The paper covers RDE's basic design, system architecture, and its unique data management methodology using Dataset Templates.
Rather than standardizing the data format itself, these Dataset Templates standardize the method of defining the data format-a key feature of RDE.

By utilizing Dataset Templates, RDE demonstrates the following excellent features:

  • High flexibility: Accommodates diverse research needs.
  • Superior scalability: Efficiently processes large volumes of data and provides automated workflows.

This helps meet the practical needs at the research front and accelerate data-driven materials research.
