A paper on the data model for Metallic Materials Database (Kinzoku) has been published on the journal Science and Technology of Advanced Materials: Methods. This paper analyzes the structure of Creep Data Sheets and Fatigue Data Sheets, and explains the data model developed for the digital database Kinzoku. The data model is designed to accommodate not only uniform materials but also complex objects such as welded joints, and can be expressed in three formats: spreadsheets, relational database, and key-value document store.
