2024.08.01 Others New rules on acknowledgments, citations, and usage reports when using DICE services

Thank you for using DICE.
In order to better understand how our services are being utilized, we have now clarified the rules for acknowledging, citing, and reporting when you use our services.
Specifically, we will be requiring the following when you use DICE. We will be revising our Terms of Use accordingly.

(1) Acknowledment
When publishing research results obtained through the use of any DICE service or its data, an acknowledgment should be included.
Example: https://dice.nims.go.jp/using/

(2) Citation
When citing any DICE service or its data in a paper or any scholarly output, you should cite the relevant paper(s), DOI(s), or URL as specified in the list below.
DICE citation for each service: https://dice.nims.go.jp/using/#list

(3) Usage report
Once a year, we will ask you to report on how you have been using our data, through our online form which should take about five minutes to complete.
- Purpose of use
- How happy you are with DICE
- Results obtained from DICE (if you can share it with us)
- Requests
We plan to send out the forms every February (or at some other time as specified by each service).

The contents collected in the above manner will be compiled and analyzed in a form that does not identify individuals, and will be made public as a list of usage results.
