登録タイプ Deposit types

MDR では、以下の2種類のものを work という単位で収録しています。 MDR hosts these two types of public works.

Datasets (データセット)

公知研究データセット。 Public research datasets.

例 Examples:

  • 計測結果・計算結果などのデータファイル Data files such as measurement results, computational results, etc.

  • 図表などの画像ファイル、動画など Images, charts, videos, etc.

Publications (論文等)

公表済み文献・会議発表に関するファイル。 Published papers or presentations.

例 Examples:

  • 論文の 著者版 ファイル。 An author's version of a journal article.

  • ゴールドオープンアクセス論文誌の 出版社版 ファイル。 The publisher's version of a Gold Open Access journal article.

  • 学術会議発表のスライドやポスター。 Presentation slides or a poster for a conference talk.

また、複数の work を collection という単位でまとめる場合があります。 Occasionally, multiple works may be grouped together in a collection.

データ引用・流通 Data citation and dissemination

MDR では登録されたデータ等に DataCite DOI を付与し、入力されたメタデータを DataCite に登録し、データの引用をサポートしています。Resource type を Dataset や Software と設定して登録された work は Clarivate の Data Citation Index にインデックスされます。

MDR supports data citation by assigning DataCite DOIs to works deposited into MDR and registering their metadata with DataCite. Works with their Resource type set to Dataset or Software are indexed by Clarivate Data Citation Index.

旧リポジトリの継承 Inheriting former repositories

MDR サービス開始前はデジタルライブラリー NIMS eSciDoc として、発表・調査資料などの文献を対象とする PubMan と、画像などのデータを対象とする Imeji の2つのサービスを提供してきましたが、MDR はこの両サービスを継承し置き換えるものです。両サービスに収録されていたデータについては原則的に MDR に移設され、引き続き公開されています。また、従来 NIMS 物質・材料データベース MatNavi で公開されていたデータの一部も MDR に移設されました。

Before MDR, NIMS operated two repositories as part of the digital library NIMS eSciDoc: PubMan for publications and Imeji for multimedia. MDR inherits and replaces these two services. Most data on the two older services have been migrated into MDR. Some of the data formerly on NIMS Materials Database MatNavi have been migrated into MDR as well.
